Yoga Nidra: A Remedy for Stress & Insomnia

This relaxing workshop will allow you to learn to be more peaceful in mind and body.  You will practice the techniques of Amrit Yoga Nidra meditation in this sleep based meditation class. Be prepared to feel very relaxed and refreshed after class.



Teresa Brumfield has been a student of yoga and yogic philosophy since 1993.  She was trained and certified at the Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Lenox, MA and taught beginning and intermediate yoga classes for five years in Wilmington and Newark, Delaware.  In August of 2005, she moved her teaching practice to Northern California and has been successfully teaching in Contra Costa County for eight years. Teresa completed her professional Yoga Nidra training at the Amrit Yoga Institute in 2012 and has focused on offering private sessions and small classes guiding Yoga Nidra for over a year now.  In all of her offerings, Teresa blends her training and personal experience into her own unique style.
