Welcome and Namaste. The light in me shines to the light in each and everyone!

I am so grateful everyday to meet new people and offer practices from the wisdom of yoga to meet their needs.

I enjoy guiding you on your journey to happiness and  success in all areas to achieve physical, mental and emotional fitness and positivity. I look forward to sharing the best practices for you in a healing and caring way. At Liberty Yoga the focus is on you. I use my intuition to really "see" people just as they are and what they need. When your mind, body and spirit are in harmony you can thrive in life.

I have been practicing Yoga since 1998 and teaching since 2004.

I received certifications as a personal trainer, pilates instructor, level 2 Reiki practitioner and 500hr E-RYT.

    * 200-hour RYT certification in 2009 with Empowered Yoga

    * Core Strength Vinyasa certification from Sadie Nardini

   * Level 1 Yoga Therapist from Kula Kamala Ashram with guru

       SwaminiJi in 2017

    * Sivananda Yoga in 2016

    * Spiritual Leadership certification in 2018

In 2015 I developed and created Yoga for Emotional Support (YES), a unique program for self-care and self-love, after experiencing an abundance of my own life challenges. People are looking for ways to befriend themselves and reduce stress created from past programming and difficult life situations. YES was designed to help reduce stress and improve relationships, especially the one with yourself. Learn techniques in class or private sessions to focus on your own well-being and aid in cleansing your mind and body of toxic thoughts, feelings and emotions.

In addition to yoga I enjoy singing professionally and biking, camping, teaching elementary school children, spending time with my grown children, Emily and Bailey, and my dog, Sosa. I am and author and just completed my first book "Yoga for Emotional Support; practices for befriending yourself".

   See you on the mat!

Love and Namaste, Christine

Eleanor completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at Liberty
Yoga in May 2017. Eleanor began yoga when she retired in 2001. She
studied meditation, Tai Chi, and yoga. These practices helped Eleanor
manage her years as caretaker for her father and his Parkinson’s
disease. She states: “Yoga practice takes everything else away from
my mind and gives me peace.”
Eleanor welcomed the opportunity to expand her yoga study through
teacher training. Her goal for the teacher training was to enhance her
personal practice but then she felt a need to share this amazing gift.
She loves the way yoga, breathing and meditation work together to
unify mind and body.
Eleanor is a certified Lakshmi Voelker Chair Yoga Teacher (LVCYT)
2019 and has completed Divine Sleep Yoga Nidra Teacher Training in
2022. Also, Eleanor earned her 500-hour Yoga Teacher Certification
with Erin at Liberty Yoga.
When not doing yoga, you will find Eleanor reading, beading, or
walking her rescue dog, Chloe.
Liberty Yoga, Newark, DE offers YES and Therapeutic yoga classes.

My yoga journey started after walking into a yoga studio 11 years ago. I enjoyed taking all level classes and became a regular at Liberty Yoga. I felt better mentally and physically, it was definitely doing wonders for my body and spirit. Thereafter I decided to take the 200 hour yoga teacher training (YTT) shortly after that went on to take the 500 hour YTT for therapeutic yoga. I am also certified in Hinduism and currently teach beginner vinyasa and therapeutic classes. The best part of teaching for me is sharing my knowledge and guiding others on their yoga journey.

Yoga came into my life during COVID in April 2020. It started with the desire to do a handstand, yet somehow I fell into starting a yoga practice. I’ve spent many dedicated hours on furthering my at home yoga practice.

I started my own business, Flow with Fe LLC, and began my career as a yoga instructor in July 2022. Since then I’ve been teaching yoga in many different spaces from Wilmington to Camden, NJ and in between.

Yoga has helped me in so many ways! Initially, it taught me patience, the beauty of stillness, and how to be comfortable with myself. Then the lessons grew deeper once I was expecting my son. I used yoga regularly to keep me active, limber and self-aware of my body. After having a successful, quick natural birth I went on to offer prenatal yoga with close friends and family.

Now, I’m excited to be teaching at Liberty Yoga and to further my practice with the students and instructors.
